Here at the Jackson family, we have been farming at Carnaby House Farm since 1898. Since the late 1970s, we have been growing Winter Oilseed Rape, and now provide some of the finest extra virgin, cold pressed rapeseed oil in Yorkshire and the rest of the country. Grown, pressed and bottled on the farm, you can expect nothing but delicious, healthy oil from Gold from the Wold. Gold from the Wold is not only tastier than olive oil, but its also much healthier. Our home grown rapeseed oil can be used in a range of recipes, and is packed full of Omega 3 and 6. Ideal for cooking and packed full of natural goodness, youll absolutely love Gold from the Wold. Traceability, quality and sustainability are all guaranteed, and our bottles of extra virgin rapeseed oil contain roughly half the saturated fat of olive oil. Everything about our product is luxury, but we still manage to provide our product, with love, at an affordable price. We deliver locally and nationally. Our Yorkshire rapeseed oil is ideal for roasting vegetables and potatoes, stir-frying, and even marinating. It offers a light and nutty flavour, and is a great addition to bread and alternative to butter. We aim for our Yorkshire rapeseed oil to provide customers, locally and nationally, with a butter and olive oil alternative that is taster. Our Gold from the Wold oil has just 6% saturated fat content, and most olive oils have more than 14%. Our extra virgin rapeseed oil also contains vitamin E, a powerful antioxidant, on top of Omega 3 and 6.
