Business Profile

Luminosity Designs was originally created as a small craft business catering to the local area of the Yorkshire Wolds with the eclectic and unusual lighting and homeware.
Attending local fairs and shows we offered high quality and unique items to a variety of customers. As we started to appear more it was apparent this could be more than the small hobby it originally started as.

With one background in Theatrical Design and Artisan Crafts and one in Electrical Lighting, Installation and Restoration the bar was set high. Luminosity designs was going to pull out all the stops to offer only the best products, an artisan collection made in house by the family and some resold from UK companies, quality designers and manufacturers all personally reccommended and used by us.

Our growing business still prides itself on remaining local. We still get out the old tressel tables and attend fairs and shows around the Yorkshire Wolds as well as shipping out designs worldwide. We are happy to showcase our pieces or discuss designing something with individuals or companies in mind no matter how big or small.

Our family has grown and we are supported by a multitude of skilled craftsmen and women we are proud to call friends and we still stand behind every single product that we sell, never letting something ship out that isnt the standard to go in our own home.

We are currently working on the logistics of having our own permenant retail premises along with expanding the range of products online. Determined to grow. Determined to keep standards high. Determined to provide the best quality and satisfaction to our customers that we can.
